Stephen Brennan is the president of Silicon Valley Communications Group. He is a sole proprietor, but also manages virtual relationships with his group of vendor contacts, when a client requires services, such as speaker training, design services or the support of a full public relations team. His professional background makes him uniquely qualified to provide senior counsel and comprehensive services around integrated communications programs, impacting key influencers and audiences. Since 2000, Mr. Brennan has provided communications consulting services to leading technology and other types of organizations, from startups to Nasdaq 100 companies, such as Synopsys and Lam Research, to nonprofits, like Second Harvest Food Bank in Silicon Valley. He has successfully managed efforts around corporate branding, major product launches, startup funding, acquisition exit strategies, mergers, company launches, initial public offerings and significant campaigns or announcements. He understands how to communicate to influencers, as someone who has been an influencer.

 

Mr. Brennan understands business models and communicating differentiated value to sell side or buy side analysts and retail investors, as well as customers, editors and market analysts. He uniquely understands how to communicate with philanthropic donors, including by bridging the languages of business and charity for major donors. He has been active in the investment world, since 1994, and is currently working with Alhambra Investment Partners, representing the company in Silicon Valley. He also served on the Board of Directors for the multi-billion dollar Police and Fire Pension Fund of the City of San Jose. Previously, he cofounded Financia Capital, a San Francisco based money manager, offering seperate account services and operating a global macro hedge fund. He also served as the Director of Fund Operations at Fisher Investments.

He maintains long-standing relationships with media influencers and understands editors. Mr. Brennan was a monthly columnist for Semiconductor Manufacturing Magazine for five years and continues to blog at ICangles.com and publish viewpoints, with publications like EE Times and Real Clear Markets. He also understands market analysts and product marketing aimed at customers. His early career experience includes working on product marketing teams and serving as the market analyst for the fixed income sector at Franklin Templeton, a leading financial services company known for its consumer product branding and marketing. As a consultant, he has continued to work with product marketing teams and leading market analysts.

Mr. Brennan is an active member of his community. He has served as both a public appointed board member for the city of San Jose's pension fund and as a consultant restructured and led the marketing group for one of the area's foremost nonprofit organizations, Second Harvest Food Bank. He grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area attending Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, before graduating from the University of California at Berkeley, where he earned a degree in the Political Economy of Industrial Societies.
